Sign-ups are on a first-come, first-served basis, whether a member of the public or the USC community. Keck Medicine of USC is also administering vaccines - based on weekly vaccine availability - at clinical facilities and is open to current patients and the public, when doses are available, to the following: people 65 or older people ages 16 to 64 who work in health care, education and childcare, emergency services or food and agriculture. KECK MEDICINE PATIENT/PUBLIC VACCINATION PROGRAM If you are eligible, you will receive an email to your USC email account from your Human Resources Partner at this time, please do not forward USC invitations as this may prevent on-site workers in essential services from being able to make appointments. More than 5,600 vaccines have been administered at the UPC location in the Lyon Center. USC Student Health continues to work through groups of on-site employees based on occupational risk prioritization as assessed by USC Environmental Health and Safety. ![]() The statewide scheduling site is also a valuable resource for finding appointments. Attestation letters are available through your HR Partner if you need additional employment-based documentation to support your eligibility. ![]() Proof of residency/working in LA County is also required. A USC ID badge and paystub, along with photo ID (does not have to be government issued) will be accepted as proof of employment-based eligibility. USC employees are eligible for appointments at public vaccination sites in LA County, see the County website for appointments. Due to current vaccine shortages, we encourage employees to make appointments at the most expedient location available to you. This may be through pharmacies, retailers, large-scale public vaccination sites, or through your current health care provider. Most USC employees meet the criteria for vaccination at public vaccination centers. As of March 1, LA County has opened eligibility for all employment-based categories in Phase 1B, including education, childcare, emergency services, or food and agriculture sector employees, to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. ![]()
